Standard Features:

Automatic Safety Reverse/Automatic Door Stop: Reverses door automatically if obstructed when going down, stops if obstructed when going up.

The Protector System®: Non-impact infrared safety reversing device senses obstructions and automatically reverses the door´s direction without making contact.

Motor: High-torque, industrial, 1/2 H.P., 115V, single-phase motor with instant reverse and automatic reset thermal overload.

"I-Beam" Trolley Track: Industrial-strength, heavy-duty steel "I-Beam" configuration for increased rigidity for 8´, 10´ and 12´ door heights. Full #48 chain drive.
Pushbutton Station: Momentary contact to open and close.

Manual Release with Auto-Reconnect Trolley: Manual release in case of power failure. When power is restored, a push of the button automatically reconnects the door and operator.

Security Light: Turns garage door opener lights on automatically when The Protector System beam is broken.

Equipped with PosiLockTM: When the garage door is down, it´s securely locked. If an intruder tries to force the door open, the opener automatically reactivates to the closed position.

Rolling Code Technology: The ATS is equipped with a Security+® Rolling Code Receiver: With every activation, Security+ transmits a brand new code, one of over 100 billion codes, never to be repeated. The ATS Security+ operator can accommodate up to eight Security+ remote controls as well as one Security+ Keyless Entry System. Ideal for multiple drivers. (Remote controls are not included.)

Standard Features:

Motor: Powerful 1/2 HP, single phase motor with instant reverse and internal automatic reset thermal overload. Removable without affecting limit switch settings.

Auxiliary Reversal System: Designed to protect the door and door operator from damage; if a closing door strikes an obstruction, the Auxiliary Reversal System will detect the slip of the clutch and reverse the door to the full open position. This system is not a substitute for a safety sensing device such as a photo cell or reversing edge.

 

Wiring Type: All operators are factory preset to C2 wiring providing momentary contact to open and stop, with constant contact to close. Momentary contact to close (B2 wiring) can be easily set. The operator is pre-wired to accept a sensing device, photoelectric control, radio controls and most types of access control equipment.

 

Rail Assembly: High strength dual L-rail track with exclusive nylon quiet gliding chain guides on rail spacers for quiet, smooth operation. Includes quick-mount header bracket which provides fast, swing-up installation.

Motor: Continuous-duty, high starting torque motor with instant reverse and overload protection. Available in 1/3, 1/2, 3/4 and 1 HP; single or three phase. Capacitor start on single phase. Removable without affecting limit switch settings.

Drive Reduction: First stage heavy-duty 5L V-belt; second stage #41 chain; output on trolley #48 chain on 1/3 and 1/2 H.P.; #41 chain on 3/4 and 1 H.P.

Emergency Disconnect: Spring-loaded disconnect for emergency manual operation.

Wiring Type: C2, B2 D1 and E2 wiring types are all standard and easily selectable using the Logic Control Board (L). T and TS wiring can be activated with the use of the CPS II option board. Reversing Contactor Units (M) may have C2 wiring standard and B2 available by simply moving a jumper wire. All operators are pre-wired to accept a sensing edge, photoelectric control, radio controls and most types of access control equipment.

Maintenance Alert System: This important feature provides an accurate method for tracking door use and establishing safe and effective maintenance programs for the door and the operator. The Maintenance Alert System features and internal programmable cycle timer that actually counts each time the door cycles. This system is easily preset by the installer for the particular door and application. Once the preset number is reached, an indicator light on the 3-button station flashes to signal that it is time for routine door and operator maintenance.

Maximum Run Timer: Protects against damage to the door and operator

Auxiliary Reversal System: If a closing door strikes an obstruction, the system will detect the slip of the clutch and reverse the door to the full open position. This system is not a substitute for a safety sensing device such as a photo cell or a reversing edge.

Radio Control: Portable transmitter signals operator to open and/or close door. Treadle: Signals door operator to open and/or close when vehicle depresses treadle.

Key Switch: Designed to restrict operation of door to authorized personnel only. Various types available.
Interlock Switch: Prevents accidental operation of the door by interrupting the control circuit.

Available Plug-In Option Boards for the LiftMaster Logic Control (L):

Commercial Protector SystemTM II:(Recommended) Features our powerful photo sensors to provide a UL approved self-monitoring operator for commercial door applications. 4-wire or 2-wire "fail-safe" edges may be used. Board also contains a Timer-to-Close function.

Timer-to-Close Option: Part of the CPS II board. It provides the ability to close the door at a programmable time from 5 seconds up to 1 hour. Combined with the CPS II board for the convenience of a timer and the safety necessary to protect an auto closing.
